If you over work yourself in Pilates it can cause oblique and cause your cortisol to spike making your stress hormone more active and can lead to muscle loss or body composition. I was doing Pilates by Izzy it slimed my torso down a lot

not trying to diagnose or anything.. but if you do pilates with a wrong form, not engaging and controlling properly, it will contribute to anterior pelvic tilt

I think a lot of the girlies don’t know Pilates is not created for weight lot but for functional strength, if you are looking to lose weight and shape your body you have to add another kind of workout regime while doing Pilates. It’s a lot of factors that come in when you are trying to get fit , if you are trying to lose weight there are certain exercises you have to do

Definetely cortisol. I experiences this everytime i work out with weight. And for abs better start from bridges training & variation to activate glutes so no compensate from other muscle
