@bodycam_networkusa: Detective Hunts Down Armed Suspect on the Run On September 23rd, 2024, Two officers with the Des Moines police department were on patrol when they noticed a car with heavily tinted windows and decided to conduct a traffic stop. The police report states that as they were approaching the car the back door opened and someone that the officer was familiar with appeared. The Police report does not state that they were conducting any kind of investigation, but it seems as if this officer almost knew that this suspect was in the vehicle. After being loaded into the squad car the suspect was transported to the Polk county jail where he was booked and charged with Interference with a firearm, and Persons ineligible to carry weapons.
