yes it is a thing..my wife had / has ovarian cancer. 6 months of treatments. I thought it was me at first but then realized it was her. I never said anything to her as insecurity was not something I wanted to add to her plate...so I just got more plug ins..told her it was for my post workout sweating ..

I’m sorry you are going through this. It’s definitely not the same & I realize that but maybe this tip will save you some laundry exhaustion. Puppy pads between me and sheets saved me from washing them daily when the menopause night sweats were enough to make me float away in the bed.

Something else they don’t tell you , if you have a septic system for your house, you need it pumped out quarterly I believe. I’ve been in remission for a really long time, but that’s one thing I learned after the fact.

What chemo was it. I started at 34 and I don’t remember having a smell. And at this point 13 year later, I’ve had multiple types chemo.

That’s so interesting. I had chemo and I never smelled anything snd now I’m wondering if others did and I lost my sense of smell!!

I asked people around me and they swore I was crazy. But it’s a real thing. I can smell it anytime I’m around people going through treatment.

My daughter would get nauseous/sweat as soon as we walked in the door of the oncology center. Even now, 3yrs later, when we go for her check-ups, same thing happens 😥hang in there, u’ve got this and will get thru it - ur a warrior!

I never dealt with this. The worst for me is frequent urination. Sometimes I am going every 20 minutes. Up 4-6 times at night as well. Even when I drink less after dinner.

BC nurse here . Using a glycolic acid toner or an acne wash (containing benzoyl peroxide) under arms and other creases can help .

I thought it was just me. I'm changing sheets daily and changing clothes more than once during the day. My night sweats are bad too. Im 1/2 way through today :) I'll be so glad when this part is over!
