She reminded me so much of Bonnie Macfarlane every time she would ask to be called by her name. Molly, rather than 'Miss O'shea'. Molly in RDR2 was around the same age that Bonnie is in RDR1. Back in those days (sometimes today as well); once a woman reached a certain age, she would become less desirable for marriage which is also known as a 'Spinster'. It's a cruel title because these women were barely at the end of their 20s, but we witness this first-hand with Molly throughout the story. She was a young girl with a fresh mind for Dutch van der Linde to feast upon like the greedy and cannibalistic pig he is, then he just leaves her remains to be wasted, and (tried to) move to the next dish that is Mary-Beth. Susan Grimshaw understood her pain much too well, and I do believe she tried to warn to her about Dutch at some point like how Abigail and Karen did, but I imagine that young Molly would have immediately just shutted her out. Anyway, what makes all of these women relate to each other is how society treats them for their age. They are basically brainwashed into believing that they are too old for love, and I just do not fuck with that. Love is love.
