@takeuswithyouofficial: Have you ever wondered what it's actually like to hike through Germany's Black Forest? I did it — and today I'm taking you with me. 🌲 We're talking the Schwarzwald — one of the most legendary, folklore-soaked regions in all of Europe. Brothers Grimm territory. Witches, spirits, werewolves-in-the-woods kind of place. We went during the day. Smart choice. 😅 We based ourselves in the beautiful lakeside town of Titisee, stayed at the Hotel Alemannenhof in a two-bedroom condo overlooking the lake for around $175 a night — incredible views, complimentary breakfast every morning, absolutely zero regrets. From there we headed to Ravennaschlucht (Ravenna Gorge) — one of the most stunning hiking areas in the entire Black Forest region. 🏔️ Stop at the shops at the base of the trail before you start — cuckoo clocks, blown glass, handcrafted jewelry, local treasures. Worth every minute. The trail begins beneath the famous Ravenna Viaduct, a massive stone railway bridge that towers over the gorge and looks like something out of a movie. From there, nearly two hours of winding trails, waterfalls, wooden bridges, sparkling streams, and more shades of green than you knew existed. 💚 And the smell of that forest? Fresh, woody, earthy, completely clean. They should bottle it. I would buy it immediately. 🌿 The trails are well marked, family friendly, and very accessible — perfect whether you're an experienced hiker or just looking for a beautiful afternoon outside. After the hike we headed back to Titisee for lakeside restaurants, authentic German food, shopping, and some of the most beautiful views I've seen anywhere. 🍺🥨 Ravenna Gorge and Titisee — non-negotiable if you're going to Germany.
