Think of it this way: when you meet a new friend, you do not start texting each other every single day. You text each other every now and again to hang out you may be checking in and see how each other is doing. You text a few times a week maybe at the beginning at most. And then as you hang out more and you get to know each other more you start to take your conversations to text as well as in person. Dating can be the same way. Before cell phones when we didn’t have texting that is how it worked.

I think the dating world is so used to love bombing that we tend to forget that this guy we just met is still a stranger and has his own life and has no obligation to talk to us every day! We have to heal ourselves and be secure in ourselves.
