Here’s the best recipe (in my humble opinion) for making iced flash brew or “fretta” iced coffee. It substitutes the agonizing wait of making a cold brew with most of the benefits (i.e. refreshing cold coffee on the fly) Recipe: 14g coarsely ground coffee 142g water (right off boil) 100g ice in bottom of decanter or glass Brew stats: Bloom up to 60g water for 30sec Pour slowly in the center, small circles until 100g Finish pouring after 1min to 142g Don’t be too precious, it’s hard to mess up!
