People on their phones as well like they can’t even stop scrolling for even part of the movie

I have a a rotation rota at work, and I get Tuesday/wednesdays off for 4 weeks and that is my cinema time, midweek late morning/early afternoon, I find myself in the cinema with the screen to myself occasionally. Pure bliss

Cinema equipment died in the 1970s when Star Wars came out. so Deal with it, or watch the film at home

Agreed, people kicking your seat from behind or putting their stinky feet on your arm rest as well. I really love the cinema but rarely ever go anymore due to these issues

You're going to the wrong cinemas. Find a nice little independent or a small chain where people care about film. Avoid the big chains.

Go in the day (early as possible), avoid evenings and weekends. That’s how I do it.

some people need to start thinking of others. I just want to go to the cinema, take my shoes and socks off, put my feet up and eat my microwaved fish while being on facetime to my loud friends

I was watching Project Hail Mary and a young woman (18-20ish) answered her phone and started having a conversation during the film

This is why cinemas are dead that and the prices very few films are worth the 17.50 ticket price very few films are even worth that price on dvd the crap they pump out these days 😂

it's so annoying. People constantly on their phones, having full volume conversations during the film. Went to see Project Hail Mary with my daughter and 4 teens in front of us spent 30 minutes doing fake farm noises then got up and left. 1 hr later one of them came back and watched the last 1hr.

Walked out of a showing of Obsession last week within 15 minutes, everyone just chatting away. It’s shocking

Best time to go is around 12pm in the afternoon. I've been occasionally lucky to have the whole cinema to yourself if you're lucky. Or if it's newly released go to the early 9-10am showing your day off.
