Season 2 episode 1 she says to Steven “I was in love, like out of my mind in love, what was I supposed to do?” A week later (as that is the entire span of season 2), season 2 episode 8 she chooses Jeremiah. That made no sense except it was a rebound and needing someone in grief and suppressing all her feelings for Conrad. They were great as friends but not great as a couple.
