@richard_north_bizbites: ADHD can feel totally overwhelming, like you can never get anything done. Actually, it is a superpower and I know as an ADHD’er you will have heard that many times before. But you do need to harness it in the right way which is not easy. Try this tip where you use a to-do list and ALSO a ‘not to-do list’. This post is how I use mine. The key is to focus only on 2 maybe 3 things that are often the hardest things to focus on but they’re also going to get you furthest. Do this for 7 days and you’ll see a massive difference in progress. Good luck ##adhd##businessowner##entrepreneur@fyp
I get so sad for my not to do lists not being done 😭 I want to do it all

This sounds good to me. I’m overwhelmed everyday, are you taking meds? I’m 60 now and think it’s getting worse as I get older

This is mad but it does work for me. So I do a general to do list for the week because I fancy myself as a Leonardo Da Vinci type person! Then I write myself a done list of things I’ve completed. But get this!! You’ll be excited, I give myself ‘Cake Sunday!’ and it’s to celebrate everything I’ve achieved over the last week and I go out and find myself the best cake out there 😂🏆

I managed to make a list yesterday. 22 projects on the list, all of them are complex like coding a brand new app, creating a new book, from drawing to publish to marketing.
And at the same time writing the list I had an idea to make an app for people like us, to actually able to complete tasks. Framework is done.
Than I stood up and went to cooking and crocheting 😂

My mind works so fast, I can even get to writing out the list. How do I overcome that?

When someone looks at my phone and sees that I have 500 the max amount of tabs open and almost 400 notes in my Notes app with a new list every single day they just think I’m disorganised they don’t understand so the way my brain works and I’ve only just realised that I probably have ADD it’s an interesting journey

I already forgot what these things were but recently I got 4 things right and 1 not done and I obsessed over the 1 but I used it as a lesson to myself to prove I dwell on negative too much. 😁

I literally have to make myself focus on the things I have done so that I don't stress the things that aren't done
