Silly but I have an automation to text my husband “ily” on his break daily. He says I’m not affectionate enough but my brain is fried at work. I forget life outside work exists until I leave. (He doesn’t know it’s automated. He think I just remember at 9:00am every day!)

Automating my meals has been so helpful. I meal prep by throwing all my favorite recipes into a generator and whatever it lands on is the meal I make.

You know what this would be good for…i leave work late at night, it would be cool to have one of these in my jeep to let my husband know i am on my way home…

Would love to get my Audhd daughter set up with some for college. Thinking like right near the door so she remembers key and ID. What else could we automate for her?

I literallyyyyy was thinking about this the other day- the need to set up a reminder on my phone when I start a load of laundry to prompt me to switch it over in an hour. I’m very prone to leaving clothes in the washer for too long and need to rewash 🫠 Could you walk through how I would do this? Thank you!!!

My time blindness is pretty bad so I have announcements that play on every speaker in the house. "Leave for school in ten minutes." "Leave to pick up (the child) from school in ten minutes." "Time to start dinner." Etc.
I also have an automation that turns all the lights on in sunlight mode throughout the rest of the house shortly before my alarm goes off, so when I get up it's all lit. Helps me wake up and eases my seasonal affective disorder immensely.

I just programmed a tag in my elderly Moms room that jumps to playlist of her fav artist so when we are her ready for the day, 60 yr old memory’s spark and she is singing and her old self

Where do you get the stickers? And how do you program them to send something? Hi, I am brand new to your page!

Can you give more examples? I got the tag stickers but I can’t think of things that would be helpful

Can you walk us through how you set up the dog feeding automation and what to buy. I hate when we feed the dogs three times in the morning on accident! A text to my husband and daughter letting them know it’s done would be amazing.

Love this idea as another adhd person who always leaves my phone behind by accident

One of my favorite automations is the shortcut on my iPad and my iPhone that automatically turns off screen rotation lock when I open YouTube. I have another one that also opens my text messages and takes a screenshot of the message when a specific person sends me a message and then saves it to a specific folder

I don't want to text my daughter that I fed the cat but can I add it to a spreadsheet so we can both look at it later?

I have:
tags that write the chore & amounts the kids earn so they get paid
a skin care step reminder
90 min timer near the washing machine
a packing list for work near the door
a vitamin list when I'm restocking my pills
a calender entry when I give our dog her flea/worm meds
a 'on my way' message to my partner when I leave work
a time/date record when I take my meds
(I have ADHD so this stuff helps me function!)
