i’m sorry but when there is a woman in a role like this ( nurse , teacher , professor, manager) i see more often than not she’s always trying to asset her dominance and “prove herself” despite already having the job. ik why we do this but doesn’t mean it’s not exhausting to experience firsthand

I remember my husband listened to report when I was in my postpartum room. After the nurses left “he said good luck you have a new grad nurse,” when I asked how he knew he said the other nurse gave a great report and he would have no follow up questions but my PP nurse had a lot and they didn’t have anything to do with me
