ok so, my players found a fish, yes a magic fish that if you lose the savw trow you have to stare at it for an entire hour, so, they used it, ofc, with a beholder, and they won just by that

been a long time since I've played. Did they ever re-word the Resurrection spell/corpses so the spell actually works? corpse=inanimate object. Resurrection doesn't work on inanimate objects.

if your group is going for a mostly magic map, make the villains have a max level anti magic field, so they can't use ANY magic. and don't tell them a single thing about the anti magic field except for some reason they can't hit anything with magic

BadassTrucker :
An object that bears no resemblance to a weapon deals 1d4 damage (the GM assigns a damage type appropriate to the object). If a character uses a ranged weapon to make a melee attack, or throws a melee weapon that does not have the thrown property, it also deals 1d4 damage. An improvised thrown weapon has a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet.
But Rule 0. or the rule of cool.

I convinced my DM to let me have a wand of pony to play a prank on one of m friends in the game. Just randomly turn his horse into a pony when he wasn’t paying attention. The way it was written was broken “turns target into a pony for 24hrs, cannot be blocked”. I had to move bid boss battle so I used it on the dungeon boss😂
