I get asked if I’m half-Asian or half-White and sometimes Polynesian or Latina. were you surprised at my results? ♡ “what are you mixed with?” / “what’s your ethnicity?” is something I get asked often. I don’t mind the curiosity and I think it’s fun to hear about other people’s cultures. coming from a mixed background, but also an American background, always made me curious about what exact countries my ancestors originated from, and why I look the way that I do. especially because many of my family members also look ambiguous. I decided to take an ancestry DNA test, and these are the results! ♡ the results change and update from time to time, but generally the %s from each continent stay the same, and sometimes, the specific regions or countries change a little bit or become more specific. I think it’s great to learn about where you come from, despite historical events that may have led to your DNA background. I think all we can do is be open, learn, and be grateful that we’re here. any negativity will be blocked ♡ this is simply something I was interested in knowing about myself, considering I get questioned many times when I meet someone new or even just go out in public. Also, I think it’s cool to know where your ancestors are from and gives you chance to learn about your own background, even if you weren’t raised in those specific countries and/or cultures. I hope to learn more about the countries I’m from, try the foods, and visit as many as I can one day. If you’re from any of the countries I mentioned, please share food, or something cool I should try from your country ♡ (also, sorry in advance if I got any of the photos or foods/locations wrong, I did my best) 💭 have you ever done a DNA test? also, does anyone have more regions then me? I literally have 20 so my DNA looks like a rainbow! ☁️🎀🫧 comment LINK for 15% if you want to take your own Ancestry DNA test (not sponsored) inspo: @zaniahsims 🏷️ @ancestry dna test, ethnicity test, ancestry dna test, dna results, ancestry test results, mixed girl, biracial, african, european #dnatest #ancestrydnatest #ancestrydna #23andme #23andmeresults
