Corporate incompetence is rampant in companies. The whiplash changes do so much damage.

My last job had this happen more than once. first time they had one bad executive in charge who then hired directors. one director had his entire team turn over not just a t once but 3 times before they finally let the director go. shortly later the executive was gone. then a year later they brought in another new executive for a different department. Basically there to get rid of whomever new exec thought wasnt good. Well that not only caused those people to leave but many more because eveyone was exhausted from the previous upheaval. only thing keeping the place together is the shitty job market, people cant find another job. Change isnt always good in a company. It can destroy the place.

The problem is employees lose their jobs. Executives fail forward.

I’ve seen that. It was happening at a role and I spent 2 quarters fighting for individuals jobs and pushing back. Coworkers had no clue. Unfortunately I lost some reputation points with execs but at least they ended up seeing the value in team members.

You talk a great story, but your ideals never seem to make it to top management
