@kailyn.moyer: The proof is in the pudding. Wages in Pennsylvania haven’t kept up with inflation and it shows. #pittsburgh #pennsylvania #pa #wages #affordabilitycrisis
I’ve been poor my whole life…I now eat every other day once a day….i work three jobs….

This is not a phenomenon that is unique to Pennsylvania.

Not gonna lie between my fiance and I we make really good money just looking at the number but even we feel like it’s too much now. We budget everything. Recently had to put one of our cars in the shop and couldn’t afford to get it fixed. Opted to try to do it at home to save on money. Yes we are doing better than a lot of people but even people who make more than 100k a year have these problems. And it’s not because of over spending. We budget everything. We have a wedding we are trying to plan. I’m doing everything by hand. Not paying people to do things. The economy blows donkeys

this relies a lot on where you live in pa, some areas are doing better than others. some are just too crowded to provide enough opportunity for all the residents no matter their income.

Bc you can go to any state over and make 2x for the same job so everyone that doesn’t live near the border is fucked.

I know people with doctorate degrees coming out of school with $250k+ in debt and starting jobs at 80k 😵💫 after bills they can only make the minimum payments on their loans, and our hospital won’t pay off tuition debt until 10 years of work

My parents make 100k for a family of 5, and we STRUGGLE to not pull debt and stay above water. Don’t even get me started on college in PA bc in state tuition SUCKS compared to other states. Our roads? The tax money isn’t going towards them 😂

I make about 38,000. I love my sports broadcasting career. I also work in retail and i DoorDash. I hate money. As long as I can mosh at metalcore shows, I’m good. I’ve turned down 6-figure jobs for happiness

Because it doesn’t matter how much money you make if you have a significant amount of debt, you’re never going to keep your money for you. You’re going to be giving it to other people.
