To be hones, you don’t have to forgive them. You can forgive yourself for not knowing the harm that they would cause and allowing them to do it. Additionally, it’s OK to set a boundary.

Forgiving them for yourself means they no longer have power over u bc u took that power back when u forgave them for yourself so u can move forward.

Just remember saying sorry after getting caught isn't an apology. Telling you before being caught is a really apology. Then you go from there what the next steps are.

Why is it assumed that we can only let go if we forgive? I don't need to forgive to move along; I don't need an apology either. Sometimes, people really don't deserve forgiveness. Instead, I choose to leave them behind, forget about them completely and keep company with better people. Your loss.
