I started a debt payoff challenge almost 8 months ago then I stopped sharing updates because some months we were just doing the minimum which meant there wasn't much progress to share. To be honest, having 1 income and just my side hustles has made it extremely difficult to make a bunch of extra debt payments. I noticed that I felt a lot of external pressure to perform for the internet on this challenge on top of us just trying to cover our needs & enjoy life a little.. Instead we've been prioritizing building our emergency fund and dealing with some unexpected costs. Doesn't mean I'm giving up on trying to pay off my debt ASAP but I'm just not going to let it eat away at me every day. When we're back to two incomes, l'll definitely share more about our process for paying debt and things I learn along the way!
