@baile_de_chi: With age, a feeling of stiffness often appears in the body, and the legs may start to swell. In qigong, there is a remarkable exercise. It takes very little time but can “shake” and revitalize the entire body. It is the famous “Back Shaking” from the ancient Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade) practice. 👉 How to do it Stand upright. Lower your arms in front of you and interlace your fingers. As you inhale, slowly and gently rise onto your toes. As you exhale, completely relax your body and drop down in a controlled way, as if letting yourself fall onto your heels. Feel a gentle vibration wave traveling from your feet through your legs and along your spine all the way to the top of your head. Repeat 24–36 times at a calm pace. Health benefits 🔹 Reduces swelling. The vibration immediately stimulates lymph flow, helping relieve heaviness in the legs. 🔹 Nourishes the spine. With mild osteochondrosis, this movement acts like a pump, improving circulation around the intervertebral discs. 🔹 Strengthens bones. The light micro-load stimulates bone cells, helping maintain their strength. 🔹 Clears energy. This movement “shakes off” accumulated fatigue and stagnant energy downward into the ground. ⚠️ Important safety rules‼️ Gentle shaking is beneficial only when done correctly and carefully. ✔️ With osteochondrosis: if there is acute pain or a flare-up, temporarily avoid the exercise. ✔️ With osteoporosis: in severe cases, strong heel impacts are prohibited; replace with a safer version—rise slowly onto your toes and lower yourself gently without impact. ✔️ To protect joints: do not rise too high; lifting your heels about 1 cm is enough. When landing, keep your knees slightly bent to absorb the impact. ✔️ For balance: if you feel dizzy or unstable, hold onto a wall or a sturdy chair with one hand. 💛 Try this exercise right now! You will immediately feel a pleasant warmth spreading through your body and your energy returning.
