Under what appeared to be the South African coat of arms, beneath a government letterhead, and alongside a glamorous shot of ambulance workers, it promised a stipend of up to R6 600 per month and free transport. Perhaps thanks to its official-looking design, or simply job seekers’ desperation in South Africa, it received significant attention on Facebook.
