Let’s make a nourishing Warm Kale Salad with Tahini & Buckwheat Crispies. Kale will never be overrated, in our opinion 😉 It’s hearty and holds up under any dressing – Plus it’s great for supporting your gut health. You can find this recipe, and more in ‘Help You Self – The New Rules for Wellness’ co-authored by Meredith Baird and our Founder, Kat ✨ 👇Recipe [serves 4] FOR THE KALE: 🥬2 large bunches kale 🥬TK cup olive oil 🥬TK teaspoon sea salt FOR THE DRESSING: 🥬1 ⁄ 2 cup (120 ml) tahini 🥬Juice of 1 lemon 🥬1 clove garlic 🥬2 green onions, finely chopped 🥬1 handful fresh parsley leaves🥬1 handful fresh cilantro leaves FOR THE BUCKWHEAT CRISPIES: 🥬 1 cup (165 g) buckwheat groats 🥬2 tablespoons olive oil 2 teaspoons sea salt Instructions: 👉 Soak the buckwheat groats for 20 to 30 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients. This helps with the cooking time. 👉 Preheat the oven to warm (170°F to 200°F / 75°C to 95°C). Rinse the kale and cut off about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of the stem to separate the leaves. (No need to remove the remaining stems.) Dry the kale with paper towels, place in a single layer on 1 or 2 parchment-lined baking sheets and toss with the olive oil and sea salt to coat. Roast the kale in the warm oven for 8 to 10 minutes. This will soften the stems and make the leaves crisp. 👉Using a whisk or an immersion blender, mix the tahini, 1 cup (240 ml) water, the lemon juice, garlic, green onions, cilantro, and parsley until smooth. The dressing can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. 👉Drain the buckwheat. Turn the oven temperature up to 350°F (175°C) and preheat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss the buckwheat with the olive oil and sea salt and spread it on the lined baking sheet. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to ensure the buck- wheat cooks evenly. 👉Arrange the kale on a serving platter or individual serving plates. Drizzle the greens with the tahini dressing, garnish with the buckwheat crispies, and serve immediately. #recipesoftiktok #Recipe #healthyrecipe #saladrecipe #kalesalad
