Health related- cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, body composition. Skill related- agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time, speed. Stop judging fitness by how someone looks. Start asking what their body can do.

Remember that a third of the world population (1.8 billion people) don't meet the minimum activity level set by the who and a fifth of the population don't do any kind of sport in their free time. Even when you are "bad" at the sport you do you're already doing great.

There’s a real difference between fitness and figure. Fitness revolves around many different things, like strength, endurance, speed, power, reaction. Plus all the other important things like Vo2 max, actual health markers, and actually being healthy. Whereas muscle alone does not mean someone is healthy and fit. Majority of people with large quantities of muscles, bodybuilders and strong-men and strong women are probably some of these least “fit” people in the gyms you go too. Even a body builder on-top of all their health markers will be completely outclassed in about every form of fitness. Different mindsets and different goals. Just have fun, training is for everyone and train the way you get the most out of it, if you’re stepping into a gym or doing any form of “working out” or any activity that gets you moving, you’re doing the best thing for you

I agree, my sister has been power lifting for years and Ive been hypertrophy training for about the same time. Only one of us gets the "I can tell you gym" looks in public. But my sister can outlift me and outperform me in every single thing, including cardio. Especially cardio 😅. She's the fit one, I just look a certain way.

I look really fit, like someone who is always running, waking up for pilates, eating bio and the most healthiest food. But I can’t even run 3k straight. No sport, get so breathless just by going upstairs. So people always ask wow you look fit, do you sport? what do you do- Man, can’t even lift 5 klg in both hands 😂

There’s no look in muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, agility etc. But there’s definitely a look for muscular strength. No offense to the fittest endurance athlete on the planet but he’s not beating an average bodybuilder in the gym in terms of muscular strength. Muscular build may not entirely picture fitness, but that’s the most ‘objective’ aspect among all the other aspect in regard to fitness. Other aspect is not something that’s as visible as muscular build. We should let the public at least achieve that, if not all.
