That damn head cage freaks me out now , So bad even with medication I’ve been getting MRIs for decades and now that I’m older oh my God the panic is unbelievable

Yeah they don’t tell you that you need to put that head cage on!!!! I don’t like mri’s as it is but he went to put that over my face without even telling me! Well that was it game over I had a panic attack 😭 now I need to find an open mri near me one that I can sit up in! They new I was claustrophobic so I’m really angry they never told me about the face guard 🤬

Luckily, you get to get them just because you wanna have one. I have to have them to see if the tumor is growing in my head or not I don’t find them fun or funny. I find them scary.

Surprisingly I did fine with the MRI and cage and even the PET scan but when they fitted me for the radiation mask I had a panic attack. When your bolted to the table and can’t move you become panic. Dr prescribed me lorazepam. I start radiation and chemo on July 7th.
