These teriyaki chicken thighs are one of our FAVORITE easy dinners! 🍚🍗🥑 It’s so easy to make your own teriyaki sauce at home, with healthier ingredients and lower sugar than most of the ones you can find at the store! This dinner comes together in about 30 minutes and is also perfect for meal prepping for lunch the next day 🙌 This recipe makes about 4 servings ↓ Ingredients: - 1/4 cup soy sauce  - 1/4 cup water - 2 tbsp honey  - 1 tbsp rice vinegar - 1 tsp minced garlic  - 1 tsp minced ginger  - 1 tsp sesame oil  - 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs  How to: - Whisk together the soy sauce, water, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic & ginger, and sesame oil  - Add the chicken thighs to a large bowl with about 1/3 of the sauce and toss to coat (save the rest for later) - Let marinate for at least 10 minutes  - Heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium high heat, then pan fry the chicken thighs for about 6 minutes per side  - Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside on a plate - Turn down the heat then add the remaining teriyaki sauce  - Use a whisk or wooden spoon to scrape up anything stuck to the pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens - Add the chicken thighs back to the pan and toss to coat in the teriyaki sauce Serve over rice with avocado, sesame seeds, green onions & the teriyaki sauce from the pan.
