The thing about earthquakes are you CAN’T run from them and you don’t know what part of the ground is about to split open. That is the only disaster I’m terrified of. I can get ahead of a storm and tornado but not an earthquake.

the fact that we can see the earthshifting on film is wild. for those not in earthquake rone areas, its not like a vibration, or a rumble, it truly feels like someone grabbed the ground from underneath ad started moving it back and forth. then you can feel an actual wave through the earth as it settles.

Just to be clear. A 7.8 is double the magnitude of a 7.7, 10 times stronger than a 6.8. This had to be terrifying.
