I haven’t been inside a movie theatre in 20 years. I have an 80” screen 10 feet away from me with digital surround sound

I love the cinema experience BUT not all screens are worth visiting. My local cinema has 10 small screens. I get a better cinema experience in my own home with 83" OLED screen, 10 speakers with a Dolby Atmos amp.

Really respect Speilberg. There are a small handful of directors that I would still go to a theatre to see. He’s one of them.

I love movie theater experience, I don’t care how expensive it is but I would rather watch a movie in theaters than watch it at home!

Pretty much there’s no art to a Netflix production it’s just a movie factory. Using film would be the least of Netflix’s problems…

He’s not wrong in wanting to avoid working with Netflix if he’s concerned about image quality. They compress video significantly. There’s really no other streaming provider, except for that one Sony one that’s exclusively for their TVs, that offers high-quality video.

Netflix has released some amazing series but it doesn’t compare to extraordinary film producers creating extraordinary films, being watched for the first time in a cinema, nothing can beat that experience it’s worth the £20 100%
