As a disabled adult with cerebral palsy. I have a mildly serve case. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I'm a good case cause I can live on my own. The people judging don't have to raise the kid and the don't have to be the adult in a world that's not designed for them. They made the best choice for them.

As someone born with a physical disability, my mom never told me but I’m old enough to acknowledge the fact I know she was probably stressing trying to figure out how life was gonna be for me. From walking to driving and even though my life has never really been affected or altered too much. My mind still wonders how much easier her life would’ve been

Everyone can become disabled unexpectedly. If we want compassion and care when it happens to us, why wouldn’t we extend that same compassion to a child who needs extra support?

Bro i grew up with special needs. When my mom told me that she was told about my condition before she had me I was shocked she decided to keep me. I wouldn’t have kept me. Because there’s so much extra work that goes into caring for a child with special needs

Mannn. I would say so much on this topic. The doctor appointments the medical bills. Dealing with the look on your child face on why they have to go through this. I deal with this.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting a special needs child. For people who don't know, that label "special needs" isn't just a label. Not only is raising a special needs kid hard. but also, depending on their child's special needs, they will probably be taking care of their child well into their adult Life. You know how people say that after you have a kid your entire life gets put on hold because now it's all about the child? That applies 10x more if the child is special needs. Parenting is hard enough by itself. With a special needs child it becomes even harder. Don't judge people for not wanting a special needs child.
