RVLG :
I watched two episodes, and honestly, it just didn’t click for me. Maybe I’m the odd one out, but back in my day, meeting friends or going on a date meant catching up at a simple kopi kadai, void deck, or near the lift lobby. But in this drama, everything happens in high end cafés and parks, and I’m wondering, am I the only one feeling like a pauper?
The way they keep showing wealthy main characters makes it hard for a normal audience to connect. Back then, shows like Nijangal reflected everyday HDB life, and that felt relatable. This drama, though, feels like it was made for rich kids. It’s like they tried to blend Mani Ratnam and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s style, but somehow it didn’t fit.
That said, Surya Velen’s Naam series was actually quite good compared to this. That’s probably why I felt the difference so strongly.
