@swanquartersranch: 🐣 Day 0–1: Hatchling stage. Eyes completely closed. Bare pink skin. Can barely lift their heads. 🪱 Day 2–3: Getting stronger and hungrier. Still blind, but they can already recognize parents by sound and vibration. 👀 Day 4–5: Tiny slits begin appearing in their eyelids. This is usually when they first start opening their eyes. 💙 Day 6–7: Eyes are mostly open, and they’re much more alert and aware of what’s happening around the nest. 🪶 Day 8–10: Feathers start coming in quickly, and they look more like little birds than hatchlings. 🪽 Day 13–14: Most robins leave the nest (fledge) and begin learning to fly. #swanquartersranch
