Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi ‘ilmika, wa astaqdiruka bi qudratika, wa as’aluka min fadlikal-‘azim. Fa innaka taqdiru wa la aqdir, wa ta‘lamu wa la a‘lam, wa anta ‘allamul-ghuyub. Allahumma in kunta ta‘lamu anna hadhal-amra (mention your matter) khayrun li fi dini wa ma‘ashi wa ‘aqibati amri, faqdurhu li wa yassirhu li thumma barik li fihi. Wa in kunta ta‘lamu anna hadhal-amra sharrun li fi dini wa ma‘ashi wa ‘aqibati amri, fasrifhu ‘anni wasrifni ‘anhu, waqdur liyal-khayra haythu kana, thumma ardini bihi.

Duā Istikharah The Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to teach us the way of doing Istikharah. Istikhara means to ask Allah to guide one to the right sort of action concerning any job or a deed), in all matters as he taught us the Suras of the Quran. "Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) said: The Prophet (SAW) used to teach us to seek Allah's Counsel in all matters, as he used to teach us a Surah from the Qur'an. He would say: When anyone of you has an important matter to decide, let him pray two Rak'ahs other than the obligatory prayer, and then say: اللّهُمّإِنِّي أَسْتَخِيْرُكَبِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَبِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَمِنْفَضْلِكَالْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنّكَتَقْدِرُوَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُوَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَعَلّامُالْغُيُوبِ، اللّهُمّإنْكُنْتَتَعْلَمُأَنْهَذَا الأَمْرَ(Intention) - خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي - فَاقْدُرْهُلِي وَيَسِّرْهُلِي، ثُمّبَارِكْلِي فِيهِ، وَإِنْكُنْتَتَعْلَمُأَنّهَذَا الأمْرَشَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي - فَاصْرِفْهُعَني، وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ، وَاقْدُرْلِيَالْخَيْرَحَيْثُكَانَ، ثُمّأَرْضِنِي بِهِ. Translation O Allah, I seek the counsel of Your Knowledge, and I seek the help of Your Omnipotence, and I beseech You for Your Magnificent Grace. Surely, You are Capable and I am not. You know and I know not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter [then mention the thing to be decided] is good for me in my religion and in my life and for my welfare in the life to come, then ordain it for me and make it easy for me, then bless

I just know the full meaning today Jazakallahu kair sir. Have done it so many time there is someone that once got talking to me with sweet mouth immediately i do istihara the next conversation we will have I just block him😆 Another testimony is when I want to get another apartment i just do istihara before payment boom either it get paid by another person or cancel, until I finally got mine. Another istihara testimony is when I want to go into one job like that I did istihara like 2 times before I got answer which some reasons came to my mind that it wasn’t good for me🤗
