@sincewewokeup: For seven years, this has been my home 🚌 • This school bus has perched on mountain tops overlooking glaciers in Alaska and under sweeping desert skies where the Milky Way gleamed while coyotes howled. It's forded creeks and climbed winding mountain passes and covered thousands and thousands of miles of highways and interstates and backroads. • It's weathered flash floods and winds from nearby tornados and huddled through Montana winters at -50F windchills. • The taps of tiny goat kids dancing on the floors, the small peeps of baby chicks and raucous splash of ducklings - these metal walls hold the memory so many sweet little ones raised in this tiny home, most recently and most precious to me now the laughter of my own grandchild. • Through grief and joy, this bus has been my safe place, first as a place to hold us and return to while we were out adventuring, and now as our cabin in the woods, rooted into the lush temperate forest of Missouri. • Every year, my love for this vehicle turned home deepens. Every year more memories join its lore, our shared history. Every year, at this time, I sit with profound gratitude in that driver seat with my hands on the wheel, and think about the first time I ever held it, the day I signed a paper to buy a bus, not realizing it was about to change my life in every way imaginable. • Happy Bussiversary Oliver.
