@leahshomestead: Don’t rescue a barn cat and her kittens unless you’re thoroughly prepared to get attached. ❤️🐾 What started as us trying to help a feral mama cat and her babies has turned into something much more. Between trapping mama, bottle feeding kittens, vet visits, deworming, flea treatments, and checking on them a dozen times a day, they’ve slowly worked their way into our hearts. The funny thing about animal rescue is that you always tell yourself you’re just helping temporarily. Then one day you’re talking to them, worrying about them, celebrating every little milestone, and wondering how you’re ever going to let them go. Don’t be surprised if they decide inside life sounds better and end up needing to be house cats. 😂 They look very lovey and comfy there! I remember a friend growing up had barn cats and she had brought one in for a few days. After that he would just sit at the door and meow, and refuse to leave until he was let in. 😂

Our 1 cat uses the doggy door. She prefers to go outside and only uses the litter box if she absolutely has to.

Inside cats are so independent just make sure you have an auto feeder, a water fountain, n a few liter boxes down, n probably would only need a person to check on them once a week to replenish food, water, n change the liter. Leave out some toys for them as well. Most, not all, but most inside cats are well behaved, very independent, n self entertaining.

i dont know about us’ surgery process for spaying cats but in turkey we wait until female cats are around 5.5 months and for males to be around 6 months to get them fixed, 3 months sounds a bit too young if you have the opportunity id suggest asking around about that

Yeeeees, kittens are very easy to misplace 😂 my boy slept inside a 10L watering can for two hours while we searched for him. He was 10 weeks at the time and it was the day he and his sister were meant to move to me 😂

my cat was like a dog. literally. he hardly ever used the litter box. he would sit at the door and meow to go out and come in. I just keep a seresto collar on as well as drops monthly. no problems. I'm in arkansas.
