i had a few episodes at the psych ward. and they refused to send me to the hospital, so im still undiagnosed, and every time i go to the hospital when it happens at work, they refuse to do tests and tell me its anxiety. only one hospital ever did tests and they told me i had a heart strain that starts with a P. idk if its POTS or not because they said the full name for it and im low key not that smart, especially when im half there.

I only get pre syncope but it’s been getting worse lately and I’m so scared of actually passing out but I already get the vision loss and hearing loss and all of that when it hits

I’m dating anyone but all my friends are absolute gems and always catch me when I faint or seize and help me get up or when I’m wobbly while walking. They respect my service dog and don’t engage with her unless I tell them they can, and for anything we do they accommodate me without me having to ask. I recently had a scary experience after a seizure where I completely couldn’t talk at all and could barely move my head or shoulder and my friends stayed completely calm and still included me in the game and didn’t make me feel bad for having multiple faints and seizures when it was my friends birthday party sleepover. Absolutely love all of them and I’m so grateful that all my friends are loving and supportive.

What do they use the ports for with pots I’m flat out getting Iv hydration and stuff the drs here in Australia only give it to you if your very low in electrolytes

Bless you, I know how horrible that feels, though I have never fainted before, but the feeling of near fainting I get in the heat and humidity is horrible. I live in a very hot and humid place and I learned to have a fan with me when I am out after two trips to the ER, the fan made me cope with working at the site for many years now.

I don’t have POTS. But I have heat intolerance bcs of my rare disease and this 90 degree east coast heat makes me feel sick and nauseas and also very low energy

My daughter who is 15 also faints. Sometimes it can take upwards of 45 minutes for her to come back to.

I understand completely, fellow POTsie here with a super supportive medic boyfriend 😊 Unfortunately POTS has just put me on a medical leave from work, too many symptoms.. Hope you feel a bit better now🩵

I have a love hate relationship with fainting. There are times where I feel like I’m about to pass out and I don’t. I call it factory resetting. It’s a horrible feeling. Especially when you feel it coming on and it doesn’t happen.
