also the raven scholar!! 5 star book for me, I think the characters are written very well and the romance in it is not too much not too little. can't recommend it enough!

I like romance in my stories. Couldn't care about spice so I'll have to check these out. I also love grimdark and I would love to find that + some romance. A good romance where there is real risk that either or both won't survive the book sounds like a great hook.
