If the goat is guaranteed to appear in the first door then how is it not 50/50

it's just a unnecessarily technical and confusing question not a paradox

a kilogram is equal to a liter of water, and if 99% of 100 is water, there's 99 liters and a kilogram of the dry mass. basically i want to say this makes no sense

Andrew Hemmersmeier :
I know the second one is true and if you were to test it for yourself it would also be true but I can’t for the life of me make sense of it

Why do people argue with against mathematicians with math degrees on topics like the monty hall problem that has an entire Wikipedia page😭😭😭 let's do a monty hall example. I'm thinking of a number from 1 to 1 billion. It's either your number or 2,946,393. Do you switch to 2,946,393? Obviously you should switch😭😭😭 if your first guess was wrong then switch and if it wasn't don't switch, and since your first guess was 1 in a billion to be correct, it's 999,999,999 out of a billion chance my number wasn't what you guessed, so switch since all the other numbers except the number you guessed and the number I offered is wrong

Just because you can have 50kg potatoes with 98% doesn’t mean that I currently have. If 1% of the water dries that means that one kilo evaporated so I have 99 kilos of potatoes

true with both. comment section doesn't understand. Dry weight of potatoes as a percentage doubled from 1% to 2% but the dry weight stayed the same so the total weight is cut in half. with the second one imagine there's 100 doors and you pick one at random there's a 99% chance its the wrong one. if they opened all the other doors except the right one you have better odds switching, same thing with less doors
