I love this pizza idea!👏🏻 No doubt there’s a million tools and strategies out there. It can feel overwhelming or like there’s pressure to be a perfect, playful parent. I feel that too. It feels tiring and like “one more thing” to do. But these videos really remind me that I’m going to be putting a lot of energy into the moment anyways. Many of us spend our energy trying to redirect, hold in our anger, or end up yelling and repeating ourselves. We can use that same amount of energy and time to instead engage in a quick playful/regulating activity that will likely help you all transition better anyways. (And I get it, it won’t be all the time). But I do like this reminder. Props to this mom!🙌🏻💛 Do you use any of these types of “games” with your kids when they are upset?
