@50501vets: A KIA bracelet is not jewelry. It carries the name of a fallen service member, a brother or sister who never came home. For veterans, it is a sacred reminder of sacrifice and a promise that the fallen will never be forgotten. Combat veteran Ian Austin was arrested on June 5 and released on June 6. His KIA bracelets and religious medallion were not returned. Ian has said he has not taken those KIA bracelets off since 2009. For more than 15 years, they remained on his wrist as a daily tribute to the fallen. Since June 5, they have been gone. This is not a Republican issue. It is not a Democrat issue. It is a matter of basic respect and accountability.
