You’re only permitted to ask if the device is needed for a disability. You are not allowed to ask anything further than that. “Why is she on there?” Is illegal to ask. You can only ask “Excuse me honey, I just need to ask if the scooter is needed for a disability?” And once they say yes, that’s it. “Okay thank you, just checking. Have a nice day.”

Due to circumstances I had to go to the store the day after being released from the hospital for a c section. Don’t even think to grab one until I started getting light headed and my husband ran to to a scooter. I was on a mission to gtfo quick so I was zooming all over and ppl kept wanting to ask what I was doing. I ignored them wanting to just go home but my husband kept repeating she just has surgery. As if the days old baby I had with me wasn’t obvious. Ppl suck.

I guess he's assuming right but his hearts in the right place there's a lot of people who are disabled and can't walk around and there usually is very limited driving carts at Walmart when you're older like him you have many friends who rely on the driving carts he just wanted to make sure that they were being properly used and not taking advantage of
