@nomadikh: This beat started with a record by Simin Ghanem — an Iranian singer who rose to prominence in the 1970s and became known for her distinctive voice and contributions to Persian pop music. Despite political and cultural changes in Iran over the decades, her music has remained influential and continues to be discovered by listeners around the world. There was something about the melodies and arrangements on this record that caught my attention, so I sampled it and built a hip hop beat around it.
