Genuinely, outside of solo moments, what has Bellingham done for England that mean he's a certain starter in the team even if it doesn't fit the way Tuchel wants to play? His moments make people forget that part of the reason we're in the position to have to rely on moments is because Bellingham, as a 10, hasn't created enough. Whoever plays, I want them to do well, I'm just not having this argument that if Bellingham doesn't play, we're not going to do well.

Personally, I would start Rogers but Bellingham has to be coming on second half for his composure, his leadership, and I think it’s the only way you fit in him, Rogers, Rashford and Saka behind Kane

But why is it pivotal Bellingham starts every game tho? You’re talking like he’s Messi or Ronaldo, he’s not even Harry Kane. Yes JB is a better player than Rogers but there are games where MR is a better option. When teams are sat in I want to see JB every single day of the week because MR won’t break down these low blocks, that’s not his game, but when you’re playing teams which come onto you MR just is a better option, he attacks space, he creates chances, he scores goals, yes JB can do that but not as effectively as MR as that is his game and the reason he will leave Villa for £100+ mill this summer. As a football person you are allowed to be objective to what they both offer, and thankfully the manager is.

Appreciate Southgate for the good vibes but the football he played was crap, Bellingham isn’t a natural 10 and isn’t the one that suits Tuchel’s system so makes sense there’s a discussion about it. If you want to play to Jude’s strengths you play him at 8 or play a 9 that’s going to stretch the pitch.

Morgan rogers has to start for England because he’s on fire and he suits the style of football tuchel wants. Tuchel would be wrong to start Jude because people like you say he “has” to.
