![📍 @bananatreeuk 🍌🌴 It had been a while since I had visited The Banana Tree so when they let me know they’ve got a promotion going on for their bowls in January, I made a trip down there. The Bowls of Greatness promotion is available till the end of January and enables you to get a bowl of ramen or laksa for only £6.95 - a steal in my eyes, especially in this weather! 🥶 We went for the chicken jawa ramen and the Singapore laksa and both of these were 10/10. The chicken in the ramen almost tasted barbecued, it was fantastic. Now, I’m not normally the biggest ramen fan but I ate the whole bowl and the broth was so warming! I know people have mixed opinions on chains and their ramen but for me personally, this was one I really enjoyed. The laksa was also fantastic, glowing reviews all round. I normally don’t like coconut in my food but this coconut flavour was subtle but added a depth of flavour to the broth. Whilst we were there, we had to grab some of our favourites - the sweetcorn fritters and the bang bang broccoli. The sweetcorn fritters are my absolute favourite thing here, I could eat a dozen of them. Finished off with some desserts, of course!
