I had been going to my boss and leadership for more than seven months because in our tiny department, where there are only two of us who can do what we do, her work was constantly falling on me, our manager would ask me to pick up the slack, everyone else started to expect me to pick up the slack people were calling me by name without thinking for one second what it was doing to me and when I finally had enough, I told my manager that I was going to HR, she beat me to it, she suddenly cared after 7 1/2 months and reached out to HR, I was told to play nice and essentially stop complaining, or the very real possibility of me losing my position was imminent, fuk corporate America😏
