She changed her label and management as well. She‘s now signed in more of an indepnedant label that gives her the freedom to creat and write and do her own style of music. That plays a role as well as we all know that the major labels rule de business 😬

I remember watching her at the Olympics at the time and thinking, even though she was then huge, the organisers were putting a lot of (too much?) stock into a relatively new artist without her having really stood the test of time

Possibly overexposure, I love her album but age 12 it was on car radio on way to school, we sang ‘next to me’ every assembly, teacher had the CD and played it, my Dad had the CD and played it and she was always on TV. In 2012 you couldn’t escape 24/7 Sande.
