See how we make PU outsoles in our factory ✨ In today’s Factory Diary, we’re taking you behind the scenes to see how PU soles are produced from liquid raw materials.😊 Unlike ordinary plastic soles, PU outsoles are not made by heating and melting plastic. Instead, they are formed through a chemical foaming reaction between two liquid components. This process helps create soles with good cushioning, flexibility, abrasion resistance and consistent support. Here’s how we make them step by step: 1. Raw material preparation We prepare the two core liquid components, usually called Component A and Component B. According to the required sole color, hardness and performance, color pastes and functional additives are added into Component A before mixing. 2. Precision proportioning and mixing The machine accurately measures and mixes the two liquid components. Under high-speed stirring, they react and form a uniform liquid foaming compound, ready to be injected into the molds. 3. Mold preparation and injection Molds are sprayed with release agent to prevent sticking. If finished shoes are being produced, the uppers are placed into the molds in advance. The liquid PU mixture is then injected into each mold cavity. 4. Heating, foaming and cooling After injection, the molds are closed and sent into a heating tunnel. Inside the mold, the material foams, expands and fills the entire cavity. Once fully cured, the soles are cooled with water to stabilize their shape and structure. 5. Demolding, trimming and quality check The finished soles are taken out of the molds. Workers then trim the excess edges, smooth the rough areas and inspect each piece for appearance, dimension and quality. Qualified soles are packed and prepared for upper assembly. For PU outsoles, precise material ratio, stable temperature control and careful post-finishing are especially important. They help ensure consistent hardness, good wear resistance, comfortable cushioning and a clean, smooth sole edge. 🌸 From liquid mixing to mold foaming, cooling, trimming and final inspection, every step matters in making a reliable PU sole. 😊       #FootwearFactory #Shoemaking #PUOutsole #PUSoleProduction #PolyurethaneSole #SoleMolding #PUFoamingProcess #FactoryDiary #FootwearProduction #ShoeManufacturing #QualityControl #SlideManufacturer #BeachSandals #ColdCementShoes #B2BFootwear #OEMShoes #ODMFootwear #BehindTheScenes #FootwearSupplier #SoleManufacturing #AutomatedProduction #SummerFootwear
