I was told that there’s not short term disability for ivf 🥺 wtf there should be… ppl don’t know the struggle and all our bodies and mind go through 😔

240 medical appointments during my journey to create our family. One IVF toddler and pregnant with my 2nd after 10 tries all together. It’s really not fair.

My HR told me that if and when we got to our IVF procedures that there are extra time off days specifically for that. This way I won’t have to cut into my sick time. Maybe ask, you never know what could be in place. Wishing you all the best❤️

I feel this…. The worst is having to take a call mid work day just so they can give you bad news… only to then have to pickup right where you left off for the rest of the day pretending nothing is wrong 😞

im on the verge of a breakdown trying to fit doctors appointments in while working and keeping a fake smile on when your heart is breaking 💔 its to much. Infertility is not talked about enough.

Girl- I feel this DEEPLY- I’m a 4th grade teacher. I went straight from an appointment back to school and made Mother’s Day gifts with the kids. Absolutely brutal

Seriously!!!! Trying to act calm and collected while you are falling apart in the inside. Also I’m so happy for all pregnant ladies and families but gosh it’s so hard watching co workers live my dream.. I know that’s selfish.

I’m having a chemical pregnancy which was confirmed yesterday. I got written up for not coming in. I guess they’d rather I came to work with swollen eyes and non stop crying to help customers, over me staying home to collect myself and cope.
