Today I want to teach you a few Italian expressions that you’ll hear all the time during the summer ☀️🏖️ If you love spending time at the beach, you’ll definitely want to learn these ones! 😎 One of them is prendere il sole, which is how Italians say “to sunbathe.” But if you translate it literally, it means “to take the sun” 🌞 Almost as if we’re carrying the sun home with us 😅 Instead of PRENDERE IL SOLEA, you might hear the verb ABBRONZARSI. And if you’ve been studying Italian for a while, you may have noticed that abbronzarsi is a reflexive verb.
