When I was younger, it was ALL “you don’t shave [basically everything but your eyebrows & head]??” To the point where I shaved my arms once. But really what got me was when I got bullied for not shaving my legs, shaved them & then got bullied for shaving them… that’s when I realized that honestly? It’s all BS. Society pushes shaving for predatory norms & desires which is somethin folks should evaluate in themselves, but at the end of the day if you’re like “yeah I know & disagree, & I know that hair grows in these places for a reason but I can’t stand the sensation/struggle w washing myself/etc so I prefer to do without” then go for it- hell, shave/lazer/wax yourself tip to tail so you’re bald like a cueball & you’ve got the hardwood floors of a new skating rink if that’s what works for you! But I think we should all make sure that it is indeed PURELY for ourselves, bc other ppl will have a problem either way, so they CANT be a factor in what we do w our own bodies- consciously or subconsciously.
