Ill try to answer these from my perspective since Im bored anyway and thinking is fun. 1: Id say its a clear yes. I do experience derealisation from time to time but as Descartes said: „I think therefore I am“. I dont have much knowledge about philosophy but this does help me in such moments. 2: This we do not know of course however I dont believe in life after death. I think after death will be the same as before birth. In a sense thats comforting since when I am, death is not and when death is, I am not. I do think Ill be afraid when Im about to die though. The fear of death isnt a rational thing. 3: I believe this goes back to humanities earliest days. When a person was banished from their tribe they had to face all the dangers all alone which naturally ended with that person dying. I think we developed a fear of social disapproval because of that. 4: I personally am agnostic. I dont believe in any of the main religions however I do find it interesting to think that theres a god who created earth and is just not interacting with it at all. Maybe because hes powerless or maybe he just does not care. Thinking about that excites me quite a lot. 5: This is a clear no from me. Its quite egotistical to assume we are the only life in the whole universe when its literally infinitely large. Of course theres no proof yet but I highly doubt there isnt any other lifeform or species out there. Even if they might not be conscious the same way we are.

2. We cant prove what happens after death, but based on all the current evidence we have, we can safely assume that its nothing. 3. Because of our nature as animals, our brains did not evolve as fast as society did, things like caring about our image were really important back when we were cavemen. 4. Depends on your definition of god, if by god you mean higher power/interdimensional entity, i think it could exist, but if you mean all the different gods by religion's definition, most likely not. 5. Mathematically speaking, its almost certain that there is other life forms other than us, we dont have any evidence as of yet, but universe is just way too vast.

I deal a lot with derealization here and there and struggle with how to feel alive… Its like there’s something missing with the idea that we’re all living, like there’s something that just doesn’t make sense; something that feels incomplete and leaves me feeling like I’m missing something. There’s a lot to understand about the universe that we may never know in this lifetime or ever. Regardless I’m thankful to be me. I just want to be able to feel and be happy and to learn to take everything in before time goes further.

in my experience caring too much comes from judgemental parents and being bullied beacuse being weird or different carried emotional and psychical consequences tbh i would say a lot of people who care to much were in the same position as me

U can’t probably experience anything after death but you are not physically gone but your brains consciousness is gone forever but the atoms in your body travels forever in every atom structures bc atoms are energy but many kinds of energy and it can be detected of the atoms behavior and the zones forces and phenomenons where the atom is located

something abt the 3rd one- yesterday i had my 8th grade prom and after dancing for a while my hair was a mess and my makeup aswell but my friends wanted to take pics. I refused at 1st but then I thought that in 50 yrs i won't remember that i felt a bit ugly and will be sad that i refused so i took the pics w them and js didn't care for once
