People will be on to say you can get cheap flights, cheap apartment and go a big shop on day 1 to buy pot noodles, cereal and pasta etc 💀 😂 nothing wrong with that at all but if I’m having to cook 3 x a day plus clean up etc it’s not much of a holiday/well needed break for me

Eurocamp !!! Just been sanguli in salou !! 5 star camp see up var in pool 7 pools accommodation class ! X paid bout 2k for family if 3 10 nights in may half term! If u have kids to so much better ‘n 3 bedroom two bathroom x

Yeah 14 nights in six weeks hol for 2 kids and 2 adults in Greece in a basic self catering apartment costs between 4K and 5k.

we went to Majorca last year half board for £2900 10 nights this hear same holiday is £4500. we are going to gran canaria this year for £2700 half board for 10 nights. next year we are thinking 10 day holiday in UK in a caravan for £1000

2 adults, 4 kids… 9 nights all inclusive in Turkey end of July… just under £6K for us 😭😭 that was the absolute CHEAPEST we could find online and at travel agent. The prices are disgusting

I haven't been on holiday since 2015 and I paid £900 all inclusive for four of us for a week at club mac in alcudia. I can't find anything under £3k for us now and that's the crap 2/3 star resorts in spain/Turkey. It's insane.

its all relative. when i started working as a Travel Agent, i used to book a £1200holiday thinking that was expensive. now my clients regularly booked £15 to 25k for Long Haul all inclusive. lots of folks will happily drop 10k on a trip so 5k is not that much to many. 😳

Fly from an English airport, school holiday dates are different so holidays are cheaper. I live in England and to fly from scotland it is 1k cheaper due to the term differences!

We have 3 kids and we spend £6.5K minimum for a 2 week holiday abroad B&B.... Dont know what people are on about saying its too expensive 😅💃🩷☀️

It is easy to 5k!! We go in summer time because our teens are at the peak of exam time (we don’t have long left of this) it’s shocking it really is but the majority of holidays are that cost when you add baggage etc and you can’t just take cabin bags I am struggling with the teens doing that now next year they will need their own case! And family rooms - gold dust! Next year we will be 2 rooms 😱 17 & 16 year on their own I don’t know! Xx

I’m a teacher, we go away every May half term, it absolutely does not cost that much. 5 of us, flights to Italy, parking, car hire and accommodation less than £2000. Done that twice and it’s the same cost for next year. A week in Croatia this summer is about £3000

Every year I book a moderate cost holiday on tui for 2 adults 1 child and add flex. About 6 weeks before we go I amend for a much better hotel when the discounts roll in. Last year princess andriana in Rhodes was 1.6k pp. just changed to there for 3k all in 10 days. I do this every year 😅😅😅
