Disappointed with iOS 27. No real new features. Focus stayed on Siri updates promised two years ago. Missing features get labeled as performance improvements and bug fixes. Some say let them fix bugs first, stability matters more than new features. Others say there are no updates or new features coming anyway. Users need both stability and real upgrades. Replies like “switch to Android” get used to dismiss criticism instead of addressing feature gaps. Focus should stay on demanding better features and real upgrades.

Im ok with trying to fix the glaring flaws of the software but I think im watching BlackBerry all over again.. Apple is not keeping app with the big 3 when it comes to AI, and that will be their downfall

Not every year comes with major flashy overhauls and huge features. Hell when Snow Leopard launched I remember people thinking it was lame… it was such a great OS. Not everything has to knock our socks off 24/7/365.

It’s progress in the right direction. I really like the password change automation and the shortcut creation with natural language. Also, the developer beta is super stable.

Why making something different, if you already have something different. Apart than that, next year will be the 20th anniversary of the iPhone. Not everything needs to be show on the pre-anniversary. But no worries, split screen comes next year.
